KAYANZA January 21st (ABP) – The national committee for the supervision of young Christians in Burundi (CEJCB) organized last Saturday, in the communal hall of Butaganzwa in Kayanza province (northern Burundi), a prayer of thanksgiving and invocation for divine blessings on the Burundian nation, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.
The young people who participated in it were urged not to be distracted by politicians who incite them to participate in acts likely to destroy their country when all Burundians are called to love their homeland.
During that prayer of thanksgiving and invocation for divine blessings on the nation, the national young Christian supervisor, Pastor Fabrice Hakizimana, indicated that the objective of the CEJCB is to prepare the best leaders in the world church and country of today and tomorrow.
Pastor Hakizimana and the supervisor of young Christians in the northern region, bishop André Florian Ndabarushimana all called on the participants in that prayer to love their country, to conform to the customs and mores of their country and to jealously guard their native language.
The national young Christian supervisor has also said that every citizen is supposed to have three parents, namely The Creator God, the blood relatives and the homeland. Whoever does not honor all those parents has strayed from his path, said Pastor Hakizimana.
By the time the country has already entered the election year, the national young Christian supervisor urges prophets and evangelists to reveal only the truth that he believes false prophecies are a great enemy to the faith and for the country. He invited young Christians not to be confused by politicians who incite them to participate in acts likely to disrupt security, but rather to realize that the country belongs to them and that they are the future heirs of the country. Pastor Hakizimana also called on the young Christians who had participated in the said prayer to prepare their future especially by setting up small projects in order to avoid being tricked by those who are only trying to achieve their hidden goals.
We note that the national committee for the supervision of young Christians in Burundi organized a prayer of the kind in the commune and province Ngozi as well as in the communes Rango and Butaganzwa of the province Kayanza, a check by ABP from the national supervisor of young Christians.
