BUJUMBURA May 24th (ABP) – The intellectual test to enter the Higher Institute of Military Executives (ISCAM) counting for the 48th promotion of the officer candidates will take place on Saturday May 26, 2018 from 7:30 am to the headquarters of provinces where candidates have registered, it was reported on Wednesday May 23, 2018 by the ISCAM Commander, Colonel Gaspard Baratuza.
This test, he said, will focus on mathematics, French and English, while the date of the physical test will be communicated later. Thus, candidates will have to bring their national identity card and the necessary equipment to pass this test. Colonel Baratuza indicated that ISCAM is ready to welcome all candidates who will have passed the physical and intellectual test from their home provinces.
This military institution of higher education has two faculties, namely the Faculty of Economics which counts the Political Economy and the Management, as well as the Faculty of Sciences which includes the Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).ISCAM has already joined the Baccalaureate-Master-Doctorate (BMD) system and the first laureates will finish their training during this academic year, which has reduced the duration of training from four to three years, said Colonel Baratuza.
The academic training will be followed by a military training which will extend over a period of one year.
