Those community works consisted of the rehabilitation of the road connecting Musigati commune to the neighboring province of Cibitoke (north-west).
In his address, Minister Banyankimbona asked local residents to show patriotism and go about self-development projects.

As for Minister Manirakiza, he appealed to the people of Musigati to take advantage of the peace and security they have found, to devote themselves to the development works of their country and to their self-development.
The other appeal was to exploit electrification, already in place, by thinking of income-generating activities and organizing themselves into cooperatives. He also asked them to concentrate efforts on the rehabilitation of the roads that open up the Musigati commune, particularly the one connecting that commune to Cibitoke province and the one linking it to Kayanza province (north).
