GITEGA November 7th (ABP) – The Head of State has given the government a 95 percent score for the period from 2015 to present, government spokesman Prosper Ntahorwamiye told reporters on Wednesday, at the end of the activities of a government retreat which took place in two stages, from the 5th to the 6th in Gitega (center). Mr. Ntahorwamiye said that this special retreat is the last in this legislature, which will end in 2020.
Speaking about the November 5 retreat, he said that it was attended by the members of the government and the Directors General. The objective was to jointly evaluate the projects completed and others that will be outstanding, considering the period from 2015 to the present day.
As for the second retreat of November 6, which brought together exclusively the members of the government, it was aimed at hearing their commitments during the working months that remain to them. Mr. Ntahorwamiye said the Head of State took the opportunity to make a series of recommendations to the government team.
To the ministers who will not be reappointed in the next legislature, he recommended to receive it sportingly, while comforting them that they may have other responsibilities. Also, Mr. Ntahorwamiye said, the Head of State recommended to give a worthy place where they will be hired.
