BUJUMBURA December 11th (ABP) – One child died on Monday and another was fractured after the sheltering house was swept away by a landslide due to heavy rain that fell in Gomvyi village, Kabanda sub-village in Mutambu commune of Bujumbura province (western Burundi), the administrator of that commune, Mr. Gilbert Niyongabo told a check by ABP on Tuesday.
That administrative authority added that the rain that fell in all the villages destroyed several hectares of beans, maize, cassava and banana crops.
