BUJUMBURA May 16th (ABP) – The Ministry of Youth, Posts and Information Technologies in collaboration with the Telecommunications Regulatory and Supervisory Agency (ARCT) and telecommunications operators has been organizing a trade fair of telecommunications products from My 14 to 17, 2019 at the Bujumbura Palace of Arts, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.
This trade fair was organized on the occasion of the celebration of World Telecommunications and Information Society Day on May 17 of each year, with the theme “Bridging the gap in standardization”.
At the Palace of arts, visitors can see the presence of different stands occupied by products or advertising support from various local mobile phone companies such as Onamob, Econet leo, Smart, Lumitel and the various providers of Internet access by optical fiber or satellite like Onamob, Cbinet, Spidernet, Infinix, Swiftsat, Lamiwireless, Yah click, USAN, Burundi backbone system (BBS) and others.
According to the managers of those stands interviewed on site, the interest of that trade fair for those companies is to show the public interesting products for modern communication, without forgetting to advertise their products and services they offer for winning a lot of customers.
