BUBANZA February 27th (ABP) – Governor of Bubanza province Tharcisse Niyongabo called on the inhabitants of his province to preserve the harvest that has been good for crop season A. The message was launched on the occasion carrying out community development works carried on Saturday 24th in Gihanga commune.
The work involved the construction of the Rugunga hill leader’s Office in Gihanga Commune and the modern on-site market. In his address, the governor of Bubanza province said that the harvest was good for crop season A, compared to last year.
He asked the communal administrators to try harder to protect that harvest. He urged them to rush for sowing because the Geographical Institute of Burundi, IGEBU, reportedly announced that there will be rain until May. He asked them to take care of the protection of the environment.
