KARUSI January 14th (ABP) – The province of Karusi plans to build a higher education school and agro-food processing factories, those are the provincial priorities highlighted on Saturday January 11, 2020 by the natives, residents and friends of that province during the general assembly held in the headquarters of the province.
At the opening of the meeting, the provincial governor, Mrs. Calinie Mbarushimana and president of the association of the natives of Karusi gathered together for the socio-economic development of Karusi, (ENDSEKA), announced that the State of security is very good and the people benefits enormously.
Thanks to good security, the people is at work and the performance is of the best, she said.
The school province has just won first place, two successive times, in the national competition for pupils in the ninth year of basic school as well as in the State Exam of general and technical humanities, she welcomed.
In the evaluation of the performances of the communes, Karusi ranked second and in terms of environmental protection, it comes in fifth position.
She also indicated that the construction of various infrastructures, namely schools, health centers, dairy and rice cooperatives, not to mention the modern Karusi stadium, continues.
She took the opportunity to warmly thank everyone for their regular contribution to the construction of the stadium, a project she considers macro, in progress.
In the future, the province prioritizes the construction of a university and agri-food processing plants. The idea was supported by the president of ENDSEKA, Mr. Jean Marie Nibirantije, who also spoke about the birth of the association. We got together to build our souls first and develop our province afterwards, he said.
ENDSEKA aims for positive behavior change, working in synergy and social cohesion for a better future, according to Nibirantije.
After amendments to the internal regulations and the establishment of the ENDSEKA provincial committee, the members celebrated the year 2020.
