BUBANZA August 27th (ABP) – The President of the Republic of Burundi, Mr. Pierre Nkurunziza, asks the leaders to always use their intelligence in their daily life. This was disclosed on Sunday August 25, 2019 in Mpanda commune of the Bubanza province (northwestern Burundi), during his meeting with various leaders and authorities, on the last day of the thanksgiving prayer organized by the presidential family.
Referring to the scriptures found in “Proverbs 24: 3-6” and “Psalms 119: 97-102”, President Nkurunziza said that “intelligence” is a gift from God and that while keeping the commandments of God, we become stronger than “our enemies” and we make the right decisions.
According to the Head of State, intelligence is a power and the pillar of the life of any community. He continued to say that the intelligent must be ready to face any obstacle to well-being and development.
Based on the word of God written in 2 Chronicles 26: 1-15, the President of the Republic called on the leaders of different areas and sectors to exploit their intelligence and always think of preparing suitable heirs who are capable of correcting imperfections of their predecessors. Another appeal to “smart” leaders is to kneel down to earth and to accept learning from God and others.
Moreover, on the 4th day of that Thanksgiving prayer, pastor Mathias Logers indicated in his preaching that the blessing opens the way to a rapid development and protects a country from all evils.
Referring to the scriptures found in “Numbers 6: 22-27”, that preacher said that having blessed rulers is a blessing for the country. In addition, he said, blessing strengthens leadership which, in turn, moves the country towards rapid development. He said that God has countless projects for Burundi and that every Burundian will have overproduction in their sector. “The blessing protects against evil intentions of the enemies, makes it possible to extend the field of action and can turn problems into hegemony”, Pastor Mathias Logers added. He urged Burundians to remain hopeful while knowing that the President of the Republic is a blessing and that he will turn Burundi into blessings.
