BUBANZA August 27th (ABP) – The President of the Republic of Burundi, Mr. Pierre Nkurunziza, received a donation of livestock, food and land property from the natives of Bubanza province (north-west), for having organized in that province, a thanksgiving prayer that was closed on Sunday August 25th, in Mpanda commune. That gift is made up of 16 cows, goats, poultry, food grown in that province and a land of three hectares.
In his address, President Nkurunziza thanked them for that gift and was satisfied with their good organization and their involvement in the organization of that thanksgiving prayer.
As for that prayer, the President of the Republic of Burundi said that his family gives thanks to God because, he said, during the 7 months and 25 days of this year 2019, peace and security have been a reality so far. He continued to say that during that period, too, God protected Burundians against climate hazards and other natural disasters, while revenues have increased by 30 billion. As a result, 85% of the annual budget will come from national revenues. In addition, there was a repatriation of the refugees, and God made that all the national Days do not meet any constraint, while there was a good collaboration between employees and employers.
To the inhabitants of Bubanza province, the President of the Republic promised his effective involvement in the construction of the Mpanda stadium, where the prayer took place, so that it could be a place of blessings and a capital of prayers for the plain of the Imbo.
It is worthy to noted that the Burundi Head of State asked them to go and meditate on the word of God written in “Mark 4: 35-40” and in “2 Chronicles 26:10”.
