View of the destroyed basic school of Ruyora

MUYINGA August 27th (ABP) – A torrential rain and strong wind that struck in Kamaramagambo village in Butihinda commune of Muyinga province (northeastern Burundi) on Thursday evening destroyed the roof of Ruyora basic school, said Mr. Innocent Haringanji, communal administrator. A few weeks before the start of the school year, Mr. Haringanji deplores this unfortunate event, saying that the commune does not have the means to rebuild the six classrooms whose roof has been washed away.

He asks the partners of the commune to help rebuild this infrastructure, so that children attending that school do not miss the next school year.
