KARUSI September 14th (ABP) – After President Evariste Ndayishimiye’s closed-door meeting with provincial leaders, his spokesperson Jean Claude Karerwa Ndenzako spoke to journalists on Friday, September 11 at the headquarters of the Province.
He indicated that the Head of State first congratulated the people of Karusi for a big step taken in development since 2005. However, he pointed out, there are still so many activities to be carried out in order to achieve harmonious development and to get there, you have to know where you come from and where you are going.
The President of the Republic returned to the characteristics of the laborious and responsible State, before expressing his wish to work at the pace of the late President Pierre Nkurunziza, his predecessor whom he describes as exemplary, noted Mr. Jean Claude Karerwa Ndenzako. The President of the Republic has promised that after the tour of the provinces, he intends to start a wide awareness campaign on good morals, justice, peace and national unity, source of development in a sovereign and serene country, concluded the president’s spokesperson.
Note that just after the meeting, the President of the Republic went to his 29 ha property at Gashanga village in Bugenyuzi commune where he is preparing to breed pigs and fish associated with modern agriculture. After Gashanga, he went to another property located at Canzikiro village in the same commune where fish farming and rearing large cattle are a reality. He participated in the development of the tenth fish pond before going to the large construction site of the multidisciplinary center of trades in Rusi of Shombo commune.
