MAKAMBA January 29th (ABP) – Senate President Révérien Ndikuriyo, with his wife, joined on Saturday January 26, 2019, the people of Kizingoma village in the Kabuye zone, Makamba commune and province ( southern Burundi) in the eucalyptus planting works, a check by ABP revealed.
In his address, Mr. Ndikuriyo asked residents of that province to plant agroforestry trees on their properties. He called on them and the administration to plant, in a short time, all the plants that are in the nurseries.
He cited the example of the nursery of 120,000 plants at the Gisenyi stadium. Shortly after, Mr. Ndikuriyo went to the Makamba hospital where he received medical equipment and medicines equivalent to more than two billion BIF, from a Christian American organization called “Restoration of Hearts Ministry”. Later, he handed them over to Makamba Hospital.
That American organization had organized since Friday the 25th a three-day interfaith crusade at the Makamba stadium.
