The seminar of leaders has been organized in Buye on the sidelines of the thanksgiving Crusade

NGOZI August 24th (ABP) – On the sidelines of the thanksgiving crusade organized by the presidential family in Ngozi province (north), since Thursday August 20, the various national leaders participated in a seminar on Friday in Buye field in Mwumba commune, a check on the site by the ABP has revealed.

The Burundi Head of State, Major General Evariste Ndayishimiye, returned to the behavior that Burundians should adopt. “This is the time for change. No one will be able to hide in his evil deeds anymore, because even if he hides himself from the eyes of men, he will not be able to escape the watchful gaze of the Almighty. Impunity is no longer in order, because a government that does not punish is not a responsible government”.

Referring to the book of Ezekiel 37, verses 1 to 14, the Head of State returned to the hope currently found by the Burundians, with the return of the will to recover divine wisdom. According to President Ndayishimiye, Burundi was beheaded with the loss of its sovereignty due to colonization. God, however, made Burundi reborn as He did for the people of Israel, as described in the book of Ezekiel. Burundians therefore need good leaders, a responsible government that must look out for their interests. He urged every state official to discharge his duty properly, otherwise he must be sacked to make way for others, who are able to work for the benefit of the people. To the religious leaders, President Ndayishimiye urges them to truly work for the Almighty, looking after all their sheep and avoiding false prophecy. He warns corrupt and divided religious denominations. Those will no longer be received in government, because they are not at the work of God, but rather at the service of the evil Satan. Rather, he asks them to pray hard for the Almighty to grant them love and unity. They are also recommended by the Head of State to pray for the leaders of the country, because all authority comes from God. To the ruled, President Ndayishimiye urges them to respect the rulers, protect their countries and fulfill their civic duties. He said that Burundi is entering a new era where everyone is called to change their behavior and work for justice, peace, security and development. The new government, he concluded, has taken the lead to lead Burundi to the right port, with the blessing of the Almighty.

Evangelist Emery Kantungeko, for his part, returned to the abominable things to avoid in order not to attract the wrath of God and that of authority. It is about homosexuality and drug trafficking. Those abominations are not tolerated by the Almighty, nor by the leaders of the country, from the bottom up. He also decried corruption and embezzlement of public funds.

According to evangelist Kantungeko, “it is very regrettable that some state officials have amassed wealth, much greater than that of the government. In a short period of time, a civil servant gets richer, builds apartments, while his salary is well known that he cannot even realize a hundredth of his assets. Those officials who hijack taxes from the taxpayer cannot be tolerated by the new government. They will meet the wrath of the Almighty. Corruption must be fought with the utmost energy, because no country can develop with corruption”.

Evangelist Kantungeko seeks divine wisdom to make those people abandon those abominations. He also warns leaders against betrayal. He refers to the actions of Judas who betrayed the Lord Jesus Christ, while he was one of his disciples.
