The Cabinet analyzed the bill regulating the capital markets in Burundi

BUJUMBURA January 25th (ABP) – The Cabinet met on Wednesday January 24, 2018 led by the Head of State, Mr. Pierre Nkurunziza, with seven items on the agenda including the bill regulating the capital markets in Burundi.
Regarding the statement from the government General Secretary Office, it was said that in addition to the bill regulating the capital markets in Burundi, there is the draft Ministerial Order establishing the expenditure limits for the first quarter of 2018, which were presented by the Minister of Finance. Two other items concerned the memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Public Security and that of the Interior of South Africa, and the memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Security of People’s Republic of China. Both items were presented by the Minister of Public Security.
The Cabinet also analyzed the draft agreement between the government of the Russian Federation and the government of the Republic of Burundi on the military cooperation, which was presented by the Minister of National Defense and Veterans. A Note on the draft arrangement and the asphalt works of Bururi-Makamba-Gihofi-Cankuzo road was presented by the Minister of Public Works.             Finally, the Cabinet discussed the miscellaneous.
