CIBITOKE February 28th (ABP) – Kobil Company distributed gasoline at service stations at the headquarters of Cibitoke province (northwestern Burundi), in Rugombo commune on Tuesday February 26, 2019, after almost two weeks of shortage, a check by ABP revealed.

It was a relief for drivers of cars and motorcycles who say that fuel breaks disrupt their operations. In order for them to get their supplies in order, a police officer did not leave the place to call for responsibility. Refueling in a can was not easy. It required a document signed by an authorized official to avoid comfort reserves or sales of fuel on the black market. Fuel fraud has become rare in that province bordering the DRC following multiple police operations and searches in Cibitoke.
