He said that all countries that have developed or are developing today have focused on education. For him, the executives who come out of school must be competent people who offer quality services.

Mr. Kassim said his party will focus on the health sector. To be able to go about daily activities and have efficient production, people must be in good health, he said. The fourth and final project of his party will be based on employment, Kassim said, deploring that today, many young people are jobless after completing their studies. “If the UPD-Zigamibanga party wins the 2020 elections, it will do everything to create jobs to find employment for young Burundians who finish their studies,” he said.

On his part, the leader of the party in Bujumbura City Council, Mr. Prosper Ndayisaba, said in his welcoming speech that all party persons in authority are strong. He expressed confidence that his party will win seats in the National Assembly in the 2020 elections.
