BUJUMBURA January 19th (ABP) – Police say they arrested about two weeks later, an alleged assassin by the name of Leonidas Niyongabo. According to the provincial police commissioner in Bujumbura province (western Burundi), OPC2 Jean Pierre Kwizera, Leonidas Niyongabo stabbed his wife almost two weeks ago at Kizunga in Nyabiraba commune and fled, adding that he was on the run until Thursday January 18th, the date of his arrest. Note that he is currently in the hands of the police and his case has been opened and will follow its normal course.
