KIRUNDO January 10th (ABP) – The governor of Kirundo province (northern Burundi), Mr. Alain Tribert Mutabazi, handed on Monday, January 7, 2019 an envelope of 500,000 BIF to the widow of the late Stany Misago, the former administrator of Kirundo commune, a check on the site by ABP has revealed.

Mr. Misago, as recalled, died on October 8, 2018, following a traffic accident that took place in Kayanza province (north). According to Governor Mutabazi, that sum is a contribution from him and his two advisers as well as all the communal administrators of the province who have seen fit to support the widow of their former collaborator, who left orphans at school. Everyone paid 50,000 BIF, he said, while making it known that it is within the framework of implementing the appeal of the President of the Republic who asked everyone to help their neighbor, if needed. The Governor of Kirundo invited the people of the province to follow the example of those administrative officials because it is not good to ignore the problems of the neighbor.
